JOANA PINHEIRO was born in Porto and grew up in a village, now a town, around Douro, in a rural and simultaneously erudite environment.
Soon moved to Porto to study Art, completing a Degree in Fine Arts at FBAUP, learning with great masters of Portuguese Contemporary Art. Also attended at the Academy of Fine Arts & Design in Bratislava, Slovakia, specializing in both Painting, Photography and Cine-Video, having had the opportunity to take workshops with the best Czech and Slovak photographers.
Worked as a Fashion Advisor and Internal Store Management
Worked as Art History and Descriptive Geometry Trainer
Some of her works became part of private collections.
Currently developing her own art projects, being present in physical and online galleries and alternative markets.
Above all, creating works for posterity.
